Achieving a good level of health and fitness is really not just about engaging in healthy behaviours on a routine basis, it also requires endurance during this trek. Each of the healthy habits may seem small by itself, but over time they can have a snowball effect on your health. The trick is to focus on making the healthy choice in any given moment, rather than looking at all the things you must do in the long term.


Diet is often seen as a temporary thing, so they return to their former lifestyle after 3 months. This is wrong, look at it as a lifestyle of healthy eating and not a dreaded disease. Some attempts at adopting a good lifestyle are-Make dietary changes slowly, do not rush into it. Before shopping Plan healthy meals in advance, Shop with a list based on your weekly meal plan, go food shopping on a full stomach, Spend most of your shopping time along the perimeter of the grocery store, Stop buying foods that are marketed as healthy-so Only buy real foods, Buy wild caught fish, grass-fed meats, and free range eggs instead of their grain-fed counterparts.


Buy more organic foods. Hydrating properly because staying hydrated is one of the most important things you can do for your health, but it is under appreciated. Drink a minimum of eight cups of water every day. Drink green tea. Don’t add cream or sugar to your tea and coffee and Stop drinking soda.


Cook and Eat Healthier Meals. Eat at restaurants less frequently and don’t add salt to your meals, even if you want to, be very moderate about it. Use healthier oils to cook, replace salad dressings with extra virgin olive oil or squeezed lemon or lime juice. Add a serving of vegetables to each meal. Have a balanced mix of carbohydrates, fats, and protein in each meal. Eat your sandwiches open-faced so you will be mindful of the quantity of the filling you’re putting inside.

For Physical Activity Habits and Behaviours, take advantage of short but very intense workouts. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Do your own housework and don’t leave it all for the house help.  Do short workouts before you shower?


To get motivated find a workout partner for the ginger both ways, Put on your gym clothes. Create a backup plan when obstacles spring up. Give yourself time to recover from workouts it can harm the muscles. Warm up before and cool down after your workout.


Improve Your Sleep Habits by waking up at the same time every day. Go to bed at the same time every night. Stop eating heavy meals before bed. Stop doing anything in your bed except for sleep and sex. Create a better sleep environment. Be sensible about your caffeine intake. Avoid bright lights before bed. Before bed, prepare for the next day or else your thoughts will be distorted throughout the night.


Manage Your Stress. Identify what triggers the stress. Get organized, set priorities and deadlines. Reduce the clutter in your life. Take a break whenever you feel stressed. Avoid people who stress you out and you can also relieve stress by playing with your pet.


Balance Your Lifestyle- apply moderation in all you do if you can’t help quitting.  Although it is advisable to quit smoking, so drink moderately and minimize the use of pharmaceuticals. Decrease exposure to toxic chemicals in your environment. Spend more time in the sun for vitamin D. Exercise your mind. Watch less TV. Have a morning routine. Brush your teeth twice a day and floss at least once and practice good hygiene.


Be Happy and Mentally sound-Practice gratitude. Follow your passion and do things you love. Set goals and actively work towards achieving them. Appreciate the beauty around you. Meditate for at least five minutes per day. Use cognitive reframing to change your negative thoughts to positive ones. Write about your negative emotions and experiences instead of holding them in. Make your first thought of the day: “Great things will happen today.” Spend time actively socializing with friends. Allow yourself to express positive emotions through laughing and smiling. Learn to forgive others and let go of grudges. Get yourself out of toxic relationships.


A lot has been said right! That’s accurate, adopting them may have a painful beginning, but the result you would love. Think healthy today; it’s the best thought to have and the best way to be.
