ASOMEX® is the S-enantiomer salt of Amlodipine besylate, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, selective for vascular smooth muscle where it reduces peripheral resistance and blocks constriction in coronary vessels.

Note:
- Precaution should be taken when administering S-Amlodipine to patients with hepatic and renal impairments
- Safety os S-Amlodipine in pregnant and lactating women has not been fully established. Thus it may be administered to pregnant and lactating mothers only when the potential benefits outweighs the risks
