Mr Biola Adebayo

Mr. Adebayo graduated from the School of Pharmacy, University of Lagos in 1988. He also has a Diploma in Advanced Computer Techniques and Applications (1998) from the University of Ibadan (Consultancy Unit). He worked with the Federal Ministry of Health in Lagos as an intern pharmacist and later began his career with Glaxo Nigeria Plc in April 1991 as a medical representative.

Thereafter, he joined the pharmaceutical division of CAP PLC in July 1994 where he developed his skills and competencies in the sales and marketing of healthcare products and FMCGs.

He continued his career with Fidson Healthcare Plc in 1996 and held various positions in the Sales and Marketing Division and rose through the ranks to become the Sales and Marketing Manager in April 2001.

In 2004, he became the Sales and Marketing Director, a position he occupied until June 2009. He later became the Operations Director and then the Technical Director, the position he held until Nov 2022 when he was elevated to the position of the Deputy Managing Director of Fidson Healthcare PLC.

Currently, Mr. Adebayo is the Managing Director/ CEO of Fidson Healthcare Plc.

He is a financial member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and a Merit Award Winner of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch.

He has undergone a lot of Executive Management courses amongst which are: Top executive leadership programme jointly organized by Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Manchester Business School in Manchester, England, United Kingdom.

He is an alumnus of the Administrative Staff College of India, Bella-Vista Hyderabad, India; Lagos Business School (CEP19), PAN-AFRICAN University, Lagos and IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain.

He has also completed all the Training modules of the African Global CEO Programme in Lagos Business School, Lagos -Nigeria, Strathmore Business School, Nairobi – Kenya and Yale School of Management, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut – USA.

His professional proficiencies, shrewdness, vast insights, and result-driven attributes have made him highly sought-after within the pharmaceutical industry where he has held various positions viz:

  1. Financial Secretary (2012 – 2016): West African Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers Association (WAPMAN)
  2. Financial Secretary (2015 – 2019): Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN)
  3. Treasurer (2018-2020): Chemical & Pharmaceutical Sectoral Group of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).
  4. Treasurer (June2023 until date): Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN)
  5. He is currently representing PMGMAN on the Essential drugs list and Nigeria National Formularies Committees of the Federal Ministry of Health.
  6. He has also served and headed several committees in WAPMAN, PMGMAN etc.

MR. OLUGBENGA OLAYEYE

A Pharmacist educated at Nigeria’s premier University- the University of lbadan and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry since graduation with Fidson Healthcare Plc.

He has worked across diverse functions (Sales and Marketing, Business development, Manufacturing, Research and Development and Operations) in the company since inception and has been pivotal in determining her policy direction, strategy execution and has managed organizational change and transformation over the period.

As Sales and Marketing Director, he leads a team of over 200 salesmen and has the responsibility to formulate and implement the company’s sales and marketing strategies. By 2021, he became the Strategy and Marketing Director, a position he held

An exciting person to have on a team, he is committed to team building and development of leadership skills and ability which he believes is the critical requirement for organizational growth and corporate success.

As a community leader, he managed to change in his neighbourhood association with attendant positive results and commendation. He also plays leadership role in his local church and is committed to the propagation of his Christian faith.

MR. OLA IJIMAKIN

Mr. Ijimakin joined the organization (Fidson Healthcare Ltd) in July
2002 as Regional Manager in the North-eastern region.

He graduated from the University of Jos in 1994 where he was awarded a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree. He won the prize for the best graduating student in Pharmacy among other prestigious awards.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Business School Netherlands, Buren (2014) where he finished with distinction.

Mr. Ola is a seasoned professional who has grown through the ranks over the years. He served as Group Marketing Manager from May 2005 to December 2006; General Manager, Marketing from April 2011 to May 2016 and General Manager, Sales and Marketing from May 2016 to December 2020. He was appointed the Commercial Director in January 2021.

He is vastly experienced, having served in large corporations both at home and abroad. He is a fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria.

MR. IMOKHA AYEBAE

Imokha is a commercially astute finance professional with over 15 years of experience in finance & accounting, corporate finance, and management consulting. His areas of specialization include financial strategy and control, tax, and treasury management, as well as accounting and reporting.

He joined Fidson Healthcare Plc. in 2013 as the Corporate Finance and Treasury Manager and served on the Company’s Management team as Head, Finance, and Accounts for over 4 years prior to his appointment to the Board. His experience has been valuable in Fidson raising circa ₦25 billion for expansion projects, debt restructuring and working capital funding, which resulted in revenue increase of 25% CAGR and 130% growth in Shareholders’ funds over the last 4 years.

Prior to joining Fidson, Imokha worked at FBN Capital Ltd (now FBN Quest) where he managed several cross-border mergers & acquisitions as a key member of the Financial Advisory team within the firm’s Investment Banking Division. He started his working career in management consultancy with Mouchel Consulting (now WSP Global) in the United Kingdom.

Imokha holds an M.Sc. in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick & B.Eng. in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Manchester. He is also an alumnus of The Emerging CFO Program of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Imokha is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Institute of Directors Nigeria.

Oshoke Michael Ayebae

Oshoke joined Fidson Healthcare Plc as Deputy Business Development Manager for the former Herbal Unit where he was responsible for the sales and revenue of the organization’s herbal products. He was later promoted to Head of Business Development in the organization, the department which is responsible for Business Development, Product Development,
Management and Research, and Customer Relations. Before his recent appointment as the Business Development and Marketing Director, He was the General Manager, Business Development and Strategy.
In this role, Oshoke launched over 40 new profitable products within the first 5 years and rebranded over 80% of Fidson’s product portfolio within the same period for better shelf presence and brand acceptance. He drove the formation and establishment of the Aventra Provision Business Unit, Fidson’s Ophthalmic business.
Oshoke was pivotal in the introduction of HELP Products (Health Essentials at Low Prices) through product design and market evaluation which provided an inroad for the company in the market, with competitive products at affordable prices.
Oshoke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Studies (Marketing and Business Management) as well as an MSc in Project Management from the University of Warwick.
He considers himself a creative person, leveraging this strength in managing projects from the conceptual stage to successful implementation.

Gbenga Olayemi

Gbenga Olayemi is a seasoned commercial and marketing executive with over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Nigeria’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Associate Director Commercial at Fidson Healthcare Plc, he has built a distinguished career driving commercial strategy and market expansion across multiple healthcare organizations.
His professional journey reflects a strategic ascent from marketing executive roles to senior commercial leadership positions, demonstrating consistent success in revenue generation, market development, and team leadership. Gbenga has held key positions including General Manager Commercial at Fidson Healthcare, where he orchestrated comprehensive commercial operations, and senior marketing executive roles that established his deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics. Gbenga’s educational foundation combines international business acumen gained through his studies in the Netherlands with technical expertise from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. This dual perspective enables him to navigate both global pharmaceutical trends and local market complexities with equal proficiency. His core competencies encompass strategic planning, commercial strategy execution, and cross-functional leadership, making him particularly effective at translating market insights into actionable business results. With his proven track record of scaling commercial operations in competitive healthcare markets, Gbenga brings a unique blend of strategic vision and operational excellence to senior leadership roles. His industry specialization, combined with his demonstrated ability to drive growth across diverse pharmaceutical portfolios, positions him as a valuable commercial leader capable of delivering sustainable business impact in dynamic healthcare environments.

Adejoke Alli

Adejoke Alli is currently the General Manager, Business Operations (in charge of Human Resources and Admin, Corporate Services and Legal Affairs) at Fidson Healthcare Plc. In this role, she is responsible for defining and delivering Fidson’s People and Culture Strategy which includes driving employee engagement and retention, enhancing Fidson’s employer brand, shaping the company’s leadership practices, ensuring succession planning for sustainability, as well as steering organizational learning and development. Adejoke started her career as a pharmacist about 20 years ago after obtaining a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Lagos. At Fidson Healthcare Plc, she achieved many firsts; first female Regional Sales Manager, first Training Manager and first female appointed as General Manager. Since she took on the role of leading the Human Resources Team, Adejoke has earned over twenty awards for both her organization and herself. These include the Employer of Choice in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Sector for 4 consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) by the Nigeria Employer’s Consultative Association (NECA), one of the Best Workplaces in Nigeria by Great Place to Work Nigeria (2019/2020) as well as the Best Employer in the Health and Pharmaceutical Sector by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in 2022, 2023 and 2024. A few personal awards received include Women Leaders Award from Great Place To Work Nigeria, as well as being ranked 1st out of 49 International Speakers (from all over the world), at the 2021 Champions of Talent Development International Virtual Conference.
Adejoke Alli holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), with a specialization track in Marketing, from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She is a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM), a member of WIMBIZ (Women in Business), an alumnus of WIMBIZ WIMBoard programme, a member of LDNI (Learning & Development Network International, LDS) and a member of the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) under the corporate membership platform.
Adejoke loves to read and write when she finds the time to. She considers herself a creative person and in her spare time loves to explore interior design and aesthetics. Given the opportunity, she would love to travel, sightsee and explore more of what the world has to offer.

Raphael Ajayi

Raphael Ajayi is a highly accomplished supply chain and logistics expert with over 15 years of progressive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager of Supply Chain at Fidson Healthcare Plc, Lagos, Nigeria, Raphael Ajayi leads senior managers across the end-to-end supply chain functions of the company – Planning, Procurement, Import & Export Operations, Warehousing/Inventory Management and Logistics/ Distribution – ensuring efficiency, and driving procurement
excellence. He has over 20 years’ experience in providing solutions to complex supply chain problems in various organizations after moving away from core engineering practices in 2002.  Raphael has worked at various levels in in different sectors in Nigeria including – Foods and Beverages (FMCG), Telecommunication and Pharmaceutical companies. He helped these organizations to deliver integrated business objectives through people with purpose by creating an enabling environment for the teams to deliver productive and sustainable business operations. He holds MBA (Management Technology) and MSc (Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management) degrees from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria and University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom respectively.  Raphael is the current Chairman of Supply Chain professionals of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Group of Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (PMG-MAN), and a Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply – United Kingdom. He is a dynamic leader who has achieved various successes in several organizations, leading teams across various supply chains and leadership functions to achieve excellent results.

Nmaka Tijani

Nmaka is currently serves as the Head of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Fidson Healthcare Plc, a role she has held for 6 years now. On this role, she drives the regulatory, quality, and compliance strategy of the organization in alignment with the current global industry standards.
She also championed various certifications for the organization ranging from WHO (World Health Organization) to EMS (Environment Management System), QMS (Quality Management System). She played a strategic role in GSK and Bayer contract manufacturing project and accreditation.

Abibatu Ariori

Abibatu Ariori is a distinguished pharmaceutical operations executive with over 15 years of comprehensive experience spanning quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and technical project management across  international and Nigerian markets. Currently serving as Head of Factory Operations at Fidson Healthcare PLC, she brings a unique combination of
technical expertise and strategic leadership to drive operational excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Her career trajectory demonstrates progressive advancement from analytical roles to senior executive positions. Beginning as a Quality Control Analyst at Tillomed Laboratory Limited in the UK, she developed foundational expertise in pharmaceutical testing and quality systems. Upon returning to Nigeria, she rapidly advanced through supervisory and management roles at Chi
Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where she played a pivotal role in achieving WHO-GMP certification as Quality Control Supervisor and subsequently led quality operations as Head of Quality.
Since joining Fidson Healthcare PLC in February 2020, Abibatu’s responsibilities have consistently expanded, progressing from Technical and Projects Manager to Head of Special Projects, and ultimately to her current role as Head of Factory Operations in January 2024.
Throughout this tenure, she has successfully managed contract manufacturing operations, donor agency projects, and technical transfers while maintaining strict adherence to GMP principles and regulatory compliance.
Her educational foundation includes a Master of Chemistry degree from the University of  Reading, UK, completed in 2009. This strong academic background in chemistry provides the technical depth that underpins her expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Abibatu’s core competencies encompass manufacturing strategy development, cross-functional team leadership, donor agency management, technical project oversight, and quality systems implementation. Her proven ability to manage complex manufacturing operations, coupled with her extensive experience in handling audits from international organizations including UNICEF,
WHO, and PSCM, positions her as a valuable leader capable of driving sustainable growth and operational excellence in dynamic pharmaceutical environments.
