Clavamox 1.2 Injection

A combination of Amoxycillin (a penicillin antibiotic), and Clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor), is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the ear, skin, lungs, sinus, and urinary tract. It is presented as a 1.2g vial injection powder for reconstitution

For respiratory tract infections; Skin and skin structure infections; Urinary tract infections; Bone & joint infections and surgical prophylaxis

Dosage:

Paediatrics: 30mg/kg every 6-8 hours depending on the severity of the infection;

Adult: 1.2g thrice daily or every 6 hours depending on severity of infection.

To be given as IV.
