A brand of omeprazole(a proton pump inhibitor) is used in the treatment of certain stomach and esophagus problems. such as gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and hypersecretory conditions. The injection is positioned for systemic administration for patients in emergency hyperacidity conditions as well as for reflux esophagitis and aspiration pneumonitis.
For peptic ulcer perforation, and stress ulcer prophylaxis.
Dosage:
Children : 0.5mg/kg/dose daily Adult : 40mg once daily to be administered over 20 – 30 minutes Change to oral treatment as soon as the patient can eat.
