Also known as Hartmann’s solution is a mixture of sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, and calcium chloride in water used for electrolyte and fluid replacement.

Pre- and perioperative fluid and electrolyte replacement, hypovolemic shock

Dosage:

As directed by the physician.

Dosage is dependent on the patient’s age, body weight, and clinical condition as well as laboratory results of electrolyte monitoring.
